Hunting to supplement the diet. Suggestions?
I know this sounds crazy, but I'm in college and only enough money to eat like once a day. There is a large lake on the outskirts of the city with a lot of ducks and quail, and I'm seriously thinking of using a bow and arrow to hunt to catch more food because my diet is very deficient in meat (fresh and killed guaranteed to be organic hahaha) some obvious questions that come to mind are: 1) how to get a bow and arrow 2) how to shoot a bow and arrow 3) how to track and watch the game (birds expensive and nothing more I can get) 4) other types of equipment do I need 5) how preparing poultry 6) how to prepare deer 7) while I'm in the forest, what kind of fruit or herbs can be added to vitamins to my diet (I live in East Kansas)
What types of animals are in season when? 9) What other information do I need to hunt successfully PS: yes, I'm poor = (
