How often should replace fluids flashing?
My turn signals seem to be slower after heavy use. (more time between ticks) My friend told me that I have to replace the turn signal fluid. How often should be replaced and where is it located in a Stratus 2001?

Trailers usually come with a chain of 4 or 5 flat connector or a connector to seven children. If the trailer wiring connector, which makes the trailer has electric brakes. Electric brakes are a separate connection.
The purpose of the cabling link is to match the action on fire in the trailer trailer lights. This includes the operation (night) lights, emergency flashers, turn signals and brake lights. A child of four connector contains a cable earth (connected to the trailer frame), running light wire (trailer will fire right and left) and turn signal / brake light wire to fire right and left.
If you have five son of connector, the cable 5 is used by an electric solenoid of a hydraulic jack used to stop the brake on the back. What is commonly called a "back up solenoid", "reverse flow solenoid" or "stop the flow solenoid. The fifth line from the tractor is connected to the reverse lights of the towed vehicle. This activates the solenoid when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
Most problems towing light being from a poor ground between the tractor and trailer. Since there is no ground wire back to each light (trailer manufacturers add small child additional land), the purpose of each light depends on the ground wiring for towing vehicle and the ground connection at each light.
Indicators who has a bad connection to the land are:
- Lower the trailer lights or Sun
- Faced with the dimmest light when the signal is itself
- Running lights go off when the signal is in turn
- All the lights dimmed slightly and flashes when the turn signal,
Check the simple things first if all the lights acting funny.
- Check wiring connection between the trailer and the trailer. Clean the connectors with sandpaper or steel wool exposed. Make sure the child were cut or scrapped on the pavement.
- Check that the ground wire connector of the trailer. This thread can not be simply fitted on the lip coupler. The cable must be clean bare metal with a screw or bolt fixing the frame. Preferably a separate hole drilled through this connection.
- If only one light working, first check the bulb of a connection appropriate, carefully remove the bulb and clean the connectors on the rear deck bulb and the light within. Check the field for the frame. This may be a short cable only the bolts holding the light to the trailer frame.
- If you have a hood over cable or similar, you can check the soil at each fire. Place a clamp to each end of a wire that is long enough to get the vehicle towed to the end of the caravan. Connect one end of the chassis, make sure you have a good connection to bare metal. Connect the other end to the surface of the light. Compare the results. If the light works better than the most likely place where the ground is bad.
- If the lights are flashing green light and not full you may need a new flasher in tractor. Consult an automotive warehouse to replace the flasher with the current model of HD.
Remember that the trailer lights say the traffic around you do. Work incorrectly lights are danger to himself and everyone around the unit.
